When Danielle and George came into the office to talk about their
invitation needs, they wanted to represent the two things they love,
each other and Philly. Danielle had one dilemma, she loved the idea of
a Philly theme, but had chosen purple as her wedding color. That was a
dilemma to her but not to the designers here at In The Mix Event
Group. When you have a symbolic image such as Independence Hall and
the Liberty Bell it doesn’t matter what color it is. For Danielle’s
print material we chose to include the Philadelphia skyline on her
invitation, Independence Hall on her RSVP cards, and of course the
iconic Love Park on her information inserts. Danielle and George
absolutely loved their invitation proofs and were excited to get them
in the mail. Keeping the theme of Philly tied into her reception,
Danielle chose to replace the traditional table numbers with Philly
street signs instead. She asked us how we could make a chart for
people to find their street when they arrived at the wedding. We
realized a chart gives people direction to their table and what better
way to direct people than with a map. We enlarged a map of this great
city and included zoom elements to show the streets that were of
significance to Danielle and George. Not only were Danielle and George
impressed with our solution, after the wedding they told us how many
compliments they received on the beautiful design.
